Rock the Vote and ck one are hosting an Inauguration Night party at the 930 Club on (of course) January 20, featuring some great bands (and, according to 930 club's website, some they can't tell you about!).
Acts include Independent Hip-Hop icon Talib Kweli, Indie piano-punk-rock duo the Dresden Dolls, and The Honey Bears, whose incredible country/indie/folk/ukelele blend is often overshadowed by the profile of drummer Honey DuContra, AKA Entourage star Adrien Grenier (The Honey Bears are playing a second show later that night - click here to read more about it). Other acts include Michael Franti, Jamie Burke, and the mysterious others...
Tickets are $50 at www.930.com, and go on sale at 10 am on January 15.
