Silver Spring's Quarry House

Crybaby Saturdays at the Quarry House:  Rockabilly, bluegrass, Country and Blues shows live every Saturday - Ruthie and The Wranglers go on at 9:30 pm on nov. 15th.  As a bonus, this Friday they also have "The Designer Drugs". Everyone pays $6, or $10 couples. 8401 Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring (Silver Spring Metro).

Paul F. Tompkins:  (Examiner Review!) The host of "Best Week Ever" performs a unique brand of stand up at Arlington Cinema N’ Drafthouse (2903 Columbia Pike in Arlington). Thompkins is also a former writer for Mr. Show, so if you know anything about that show it should give you an idea about what his show will be like.  Saturday at 9:45 pm. $18

The Lieutenant of Inishmore: Signature Theatre  An extremely well-reviewed dark comedy about an Irish Liveration Army seeking revenge over his cat’s death. Closes Sunday! (4200 Campbell Ave in Arlington)
Saturday at 2 and 8 pm, Sunday 2 and 7 pm

FotoWeek DC:  This exhibit opens Saturday and lasts all week long (Nov. 15-22) bringing original and interesting photography to galleries and locations throughout the District. Check out their website, www.fotoweekdc.org for more info.
