This project relys heavily on toned-down instruments (keyboards, painos, and acoustic guitars) and raw emotion. Stephen Christian will be supporting Copeland on the road this July. You may or may not be familiar with this band - particularly their song “Gay Bar.” This is a band that jumps from genre to genre - I guess they could best be classified as garage rock / indie / funk / comedy. It’s dancy, it’s catchy, it’s raunchy, it’s odd — and chances are you can’t stop listening. These guys put on a phenomenal live show.

Based in Los Angeles, California. Four of the five members were in Test Your Reflex, a band that I had interviewed at WBNY a few years back. After months of silence from the TYR camp, came the recent announcement that they had started a new band -- No Country. I was nervous at first because I loved Test Your Reflex and often new projects are a let down. No Country was the exception. The music is leaps and bounds ahead of what these musicians were doing in their previous effort. So far the band has posted three demos on their Myspace. Do yourselves a favor and get acquainted now!

Rock / Pop / Indie from Milwaukee, WI. The Good Luck Joes have placed songs on ABC, ABC Family, MTV, and The Weather Channel, in addition to enjoying moderate success on college radio across the country. Back when I was music director @ WBNY these guys randomly got in touch with me and said they were going on a radio tour and asked to stop into the station — so I took a listen, took a shot, and invited them down. Very nice guys, and quite talented. The Fugitive received heavy rotation at WBNY for quite some time after their visit.
