Music Monday: week 5

This week's edition of Music Monday is dedicated to the late great Michael Jackson - a man that was both larger than life and undeniably talented.

Over the years musicians from all walks of life have chosen to pay tribute to the King of Pop through way of the cover song. It's no easy task, that's for sure, but there are a number of decent MJ covers out there. Considering his impact on popular music -- I think it's safe to say that we're going to hear a lot more of them. Some good, some goofy, some just down right horrible. Hey, it's the thought that counts... right?!

I've compiled a list of my favorite Michael Jackson covers to date. Enjoy!

Mariah Carey - I'll Be There (Jackson 5)

The Hush Sound ft. Steel Train - I Want You Back (Jackson 5)

Pierce The Veil - Beat It

Ben Gibbard - Thriller

James Morrison - Man in the Mirror

Chris Cornell - Billie Jean

Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal

Amy Winehouse & Charlotte Church - Beat It

Weird Al Yankovic- Fat (Parody of Bad)

John Legend & Stephen Colbert - The Girl Is Mine (Jackson & Paul McCartney)
