Time in a bottle...  Well, maybe not quite time in a bottle but as staying protected from the dangers of sun exposure is a year round challenge for Floridian’s, this latest variety of sun protection comes close. A new form of “sun safety” is making its way to south Florida, this time in the form of a pill.

Vitamins for the skin                                  Isocell North America recently launched a new generation of anti aging skin care to the US market called GliSODin Skin Nutrients. Their Advanced Skin Brightening Formula helps minimize photo aging and reduces skin redness resulting from sun exposure. The supplement developed by one of the top international laboratories dedicated to anti – aging research, is the first orally effective natural supplement of Superoxyde Dismutase abbreviated as SOD.

Breakthrough formulation
In the past the difficulty was in producing a product that was viable upon consumption. This breakthrough formulation combining cantaloupe melon extract with a wheat polymer to insure assimilation and remain viable upon ingestion has been clinically proven to preserve the antioxidant activity of the SOD enzyme. SOD is the body’s first line of defense in aiding the body to recover from stress. In addition, it allows the body to protect itself at the cellular level against external aggressions and aging often attributed to sun exposure.

Already enthusiastically received by two major age and image conscious markets California and New York, the line is set to launch next in South Florida.  Typically, it can be found in offices of more progressive cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists as well as luxury day spa or resort spas.

South Florida dermatologist, Dr. Brad Glick commented in a recent live segment for WPTV, NewsChannel 5 that the supplement makes sense for south Floridians and offers added insurance against photo aging when used in conjunction with topical sun protection.

As yet the products are available at only a few locations in Florida but as media comment is already generating massive attention to its benefits, GliSODin Skin Nutrients is sure to start popping up on the shelves of more progressive south Florida skin care providers, sooner than later.
