Jon Gosselin's attorney, Mark Heller, says that Jon has returned the $180,000 to his and Kate Gosselin's joint account after being ordered to do so earlier this month.
Kate had originally said that Jon had taken over $230,000 from the account -- but it turned out that Kate was responsible for $55,000 in withdrawals herself, which the judge also ordered her to return. Something that Heller claims hasn't happened yet:
"Unless something happens today [with Kate] she will be going through contempt proceedings Monday," said Heller.
But Kate's attorney, Mark Momjian, says hold up, the exact opposite is true. He says that Kate has followed through with the court's request and replenished her share of the cash, but Jon's end is coming up a bit light:
"We’ve only seen a very small a very small partial compliance as of today but he has until Monday," said Momjian. "Regardless of Mr. Heller’s comment, we haven’t received confirmation that he’s returned the $151,500 that he needs to pay to bring his total to $180,000. We don’t have confirmation of that."
Momjian also said he does have confirmation that Jon deposited $28,500 into the account.
Jon and Kate are both due back in court on Monday, and are supposed to have everything resolved by then or they might be found in contempt of court.
