No doubt about it - parents are more stressed than ever before, especially when it comes to the financial hardships that many have seen with the state of our economy.

Reports of domestic abuse have increased along with the number of child abuse cases that doctors and social workers are seeing.

Resources for parents, whether they're single moms or couples who have seen a substantial decrease in their paychecks are not always easy to locate.

San Diego has an amazing group of Certified Parent Educators that are available in all areas of the County to help parents who are stressed out.

In the perfect scenario, parents would reach out for help before they raise a hand to their partner or child, but unfortunately, that's not always the case. Parents required or recommended by the courts to enroll in parenting classes are on the rise. Where do these parents turn?

The International Network for Children and Families is a national organization formed over 30 years ago by Kathryn Kvols, author of Redirecting Children's Behavior. Her goal was to offer support to strengthen families and communities by offering courses, trainings, workshops, and resource materials to parents, teachers, and organizations. The vision she held over three decades ago is still going strong, with the 5-week course on Redirecting Children's Behavior that is taught in over 14 countries and translated into several languages.
