Independence Day marks the date that Next Generation Journal launched their online site, giving teens a place to discuss current events with their peers. Created by two high school students from San Diego, Next Gen Journal is an online magazine that covers sports, world affairs, politics, entertainment and of course business and technology.

Today's youth are well informed and have an abundance of ways in which they are able to download current events as they're happening. Now, they have a place to share their thoughts, opinions and ideas with others their age.

Reading through their site is very inspiring. The next generation has a lot to say and I look forward to learning from them as the site continues to grow.

Teens, learn how to submit your own article or discover how you can help build this journal.
