"Balloon Boy" wins Best Excuse for Missing School

Parents across the nation held their children a little tighter today as news outlets told the story of 6-year-old Falcon Heene, reported missing over Colorado skies in a home-made helium balloon.
Whether or not the story of the "missing" Balloon Boy was a childhood prank gone (really) wrong or a publicity stunt featuring a family who have twice appeared on ABC's Wife Swap, the tale of the balloon boy who cried wolf will be remembered for years to come.
He may have the best excuse - that I've heard so far - for missing school.
