The San Diego Asian Film Festival is a 15-day event which begins on Thursday, October 15th. With over 200 films from over 20 countries, this is the largest film festival in San Diego County.
Every year during the festival, Youth Day draws in hundreds of students for a free day of youth-oriented film screenings to culturally educate, enlighten, and enhance students’ film literacy skills. Students also have the opportunity to meet and hear from filmmakers.
Films for a younger audience (8 and up) can be seen during the After School Special, held on Tuesday, October 20th.
