Lance Corporal Katrina Hodge earned the nickname "Combat Barbie" during a posting in Iraq by her colleagues and was first runner-up in the 2009 national Miss England contest, and it is announced Saturday Nov. 7, 2009, that she has now been given leave to represent England in the Miss World Final in Johannesburg, South Africa in December 2009. Katrina Hodge, a 21-year-old member of the British Army, is the new Miss England, BBC reports.
Katrina marches to the top as the result of the arrest of Miss England Rachel Christie for fighting.
According to an Associated Press dispatch, got into a bar fight, was arrested and relinquished her crown.
Katrina, nicknamed Combat Barbie, competes in the Miss World pageant in December.
