Start the weekend a little early by enjoying a gourmet five-course dinner with special guest Bill Bishop of Steele Winery at Harvest this Thursday.  Harvest, home of local celebrity chef Stephen Gontram, lavishes diners with delectable seasonal, often locally-produced dishes that embody the ideals of the Slow Food movement.  

This is what Mr. Gontram will be serving up for your dining pleasure on Thursday:

  • Pan Roasted Fillet of Hawaiian Wahoo
    Braised Local Baby Fennel and Eggplant, Fennel Soubise, Parsley Pesto
    Sauvignon Blanc, Shooting Star, Lake County, 2008 
  • Farrar Our Farm’s Naturally Raised Missouri Rabbit
    Bacon Wrapped Saddle, Pulled Rabbit Cannelloni, Rosemary Sauce "Espagnol"
    Pinot Noir, Steele, Carneros, 2006
  • Braised Colorado Lamb Shank
    Saffron Risotto, Sauteed Local Spinach, Citrus-Herb Gremolata
    Grenache, Writer's Block, Lake County, 2006
  • Grilled Ribeye Cap Steak
    Amish Blue Cheese Gratin, Swiss Chard, Bordelaise Sauce
    Cabernet Franc, Steele, Lake County, 07
  • Warmed Brioche Bread Pudding with Bourbon Currant Sauce
    and Vanilla Whipped Cream
