
Tyra Banks, the 35 year old supermodel and talk-show host is revealing how she lost nearly 30 pounds without dieting.
"This is not a diet. I do not believe in diets. I have been on diets in the past, and they are a bunch of bologna," she says on The Tyra Show. "This is a lifestyle change. It's not about being skinny. It's about getting in the best shape that you can be."
Tyra will discuss her plan on her talk show, Wednesday, November 4th. Nutritionist Heather Bauer, the author of The Wall Street Diet and Tyra’s personal nutritionist, will be her show guest. The show will also include sample lunch and dinner menus, healthy fast food options, and foods to avoid.
Tyra re-evaluated her eating habits by keeping a food diary, which she presented on her September 11 show. She also admits to indulgences with “some BBQ ribs and some Haagen Daaz" as her favorites -- but "just not every second."
She includes insight about being realistic about your body and your lifestyle: "It's about working with what you've got, and knowing, and learning what's right for your body," she says. The 5' 9" model -- who reveals she has maintained her "34DD boobies" and her "round booty" -- was careful to stress that she doesn't want to lose her curves.
