Maybach Music's headlining artist, Rick Ross isn't just rapping about what's coming through the Port of Miami anymore. The 32-year-old Miami hip-hopper hosted a private soiree at B.E.D. nightclub Wednesday, Oct. 5. With the highly anticpated release of Ross' third album in January, entitled Deeper Than Rap, the rapper announced the launch of his new urban social networking Web site, boasting the same name.
The Social Snacks and Pillow Talk party at B.E.D. hosted by SoBe urban nightlife gurus Michael Madd, Abebe Lewis and Phil the Mayor invited a select few for a prix-fixe complimentary dinner with Exeutive Chef Freddy Vega taking the helm in the kitchen. Company mixed and mingled while sipping featured Orzel cocktails until the man of the evening arrived around 11 p.m.
Ross was more than accomodating, posing for photo opps with friends and business partners, including the boys behind the name of The Boss' sponosred clothing line, Luxury Tax. Soon after, DJ Khaled entered the building, and was joined by Fat Joe, Flo-Rida, Mims and Brisco.
Ross partied with his mother and his sister by his side, because what's a celebration without family in tow. The Boss Rick Ross proved Wednesday night that it's not all about the hardcore image. Fans and friends warmly welcomed Ross' softer side as the artist shook a record-breaking amount of hands and posed for pics with onlookers without cracking a frown.
Cheers to you, Boss.
