After $1 billion in renovations, the famed Fontainebleau finally opened its doors Friday, Nov. 14th. A-listers like Paris Hilton, Diddy, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Brody Jenner, Heidi Klum and Seal, Usher, Mariah Carey, Martha Stewart, Debbie Harry and the Kardashians cleared their schedules to check out the resurgence of the Miami Beach staple.
Beginning with an invite-only soiree Friday evening, stars walked the red carpet for more than two hours and made their way inside, where the ball was held in three different rooms. A ribbon cutting, raw bar and live concert drew the crowds from one room to another, with multiple checkpoints to keep the stragglers out.
Celebs vegged out on the beach Saturday before the Fontainebleau’s featured event. A towering tent was erected in honor of the notorious Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show where the angels pranced and danced as Usher and Heidi Klum took the helm of the catwalk.
Followed by a colossal after party, a sneak preview of the Fontainebleau’s newest hotspot LIV nightclub, celebs made their way into the 30,000 sqaure-foot club where they enjoyed complimentary cocktails, endless mingling and an intoxicating LED light show.
Sure to draw in a more impressive guest list than ever before, Miami scenesters have no doubt after their first taste, the Fontainebleau is back and better than ever! But really, who could complain about free bubbly, endless stone crabs and a complimentary hotel suite?
