Scottish singer Susan Boyle, who rose to fame almost overnight on "Britain's Got Talent" this year, is set to sing on Tuesday night's "Dancing with the Stars" results show. Boyle is expected to sing her signature song “I Dreamed a Dream” from “Les Miserable” to promote her new album which will be released on November 24.
According to DWTS posts on Twitter, Boyle, who performed on America's Got Talent last September, will perform while DWTS dancers Tony Dovolani and Chelsie Hightower demonstrate what professional dancers can do on the dance floor.
"She's excited and happy," her brother John Boyle told www.people.com. "She loves America and loves the people. She appreciates their honesty."
Susan Boyle vs. Sharon Osbourne
What is particularly interesting about Boyle singing on "Dancing with the Stars" besides her powerhouse vocals is the fact Kelly Osbourne is a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars." For those who don't know, Kelly's mother Sharon Osbourne recently bashed Susan Boyle on “The Opie & Anthony Show,” making rude comments about the Scottish sensation. These comments caused Osbourne a backlash of angry response, not just from Susan Boyle's many fans, but others who were appalled by Osbourne's cruel comments.
While Susan Boyle appreciates honesty, comments like Osbourne's are never in good taste. Susan Boyle has an inner beauty which Sharon Osbourne will never understand. Tune in to "Dancing with the Stars" tomorrow night and see for yourself when Susan Boyle performs.
