Susan Boyle - A Dream Come True
Growing up in the small village of Blackburn in West Lothian, Scotland, Susan Boyle loved to go to musicals. When she auditioned for "Britain's Got Talent," Boyle mentioned the stars of the musicals as her inspiration, saying her dream was to be a singer like Broadway star Elaine Page. Page actually sang Fantine's "I Dreamed a Dream" in Les Miserables years before it became Boyle's signature song.

Since that meeting Boyle's idol has been singing the praises of her biggest fan. According to Your Magazine, a British magazine for 50 plus women, Page was very touched when she first saw Boyle's video on YouTube.
"I found it rather emotional, a rags to riches kind of story... But it was more than that. I felt I knew what Susan was going through, the full horror of it all. You could see it in her eyes."
Page continued: "Susan's learning fast - she's got over the initial shock. Yes, she still seems quite vulnerable but there's a streak of Scottish grit beneath the surface.
"And she's got a good team around her. So let's hope they continue to protect and look after her. I wish her great success.
