(5) Must haves for your fall wardrobe

Fall is a great time of year. Not to hot, not to cold, but just right. When it comes to the fall weather it’s all about staying neutral, and in style. With the fashions these days sometimes repeating what has already been a part of fashion history, it gets better and better as time goes by. We will see many classics this fall, starting with the ladies fitted jackets. Fitted jackets were first on the scene in the 1940’s when women’s clothing went from full skirts and dresses in floral prints to skirts and dresses that fit more to the female shape. Although fitting to the female shape is an appealing idea, this decrease in the fabric used in full skirts and many other garments was less to do with the female shape but more to do with fabric being rationed back in the 1940’s due to World War II.
Since then there is no longer a need to be thrifty with fabric but more of a need to be fashion oriented. Fitted jackets are back and better than ever. Jackets in tweed or solid colors are now made to show off the natural curve of a woman’s body mimicking the hour glass shape. These jackets are flattering to all women of all sizes; they are sophisticated and very feminine.
And second on the list of “must haves”; if you love skirts you will love this skirt. The “Pencil Skirt” has a waistband that is worn on your natural waist. It fits you just right and then tapers off at the hemline. Wearing your blouse “tucked in” will ensure your curvy silhouette will be for all to see.
Other must haves this fall season?? Well, a crisp white button down shirt is next on the list; this shirt can be worn with just about everything. The white button shirt is a classic one that should be in every fashion cautious person’s closet already, but if you haven’t bought one yet, now is the time.
Next on the list are boots. Boots are fun, sexy, stylish and just plain awesome. Paired with skirts or dresses they add style to your outfits and to your wardrobe.
And last but not least; pearls. Pearls are very feminine, classy, sophisticated, and can be worn with many things and jeans are included. Worn with jeans they add a special touch turning plain into classy casual wear or worn with an evening gown to add a touch of elegance.
