Following a tradition as old as the Aztecs in Mexico, NYC Chihuahua meetup celebrated their Chi-lloween (chihuahua halloween) in November 1st “All Souls Day” or “Day of the Dead” as is popularly known.

Not only the chihuahuas came wearing costumes but there were also shrines with photos of passed pets that were remember for their significance in each owners lifes.

A costume contest served as entertainment. Winners were selected under three categories.
