Vince Carter

The New Jersey Nets have traded Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson to Orlando for Courtney Lee, Rafer Alston, and Tony Battie.

The deal was a salary dump for the Nets as they unload Carter's huge contract. The Nets save $16.5 million next season by making this move. They also add a quality player in Courtney Lee to replace Carter.

The Nets will draft Louisville shooting guard Terrence Williams at number 11 if he's available.

Orlando is swinging for the fences. Carter is a quality replacement if Hedo Turkoglu leaves in free agency. If Hedo returns, Carter is the perfect shooting guard for the Magic. A starting lineup of Jameer Nelson, Vince Carter, Hedo Turkoglu, Rashard Lewis, and Dwight Howard is downright scary.
