In recent weeks you’ve heard it all. Barack Obama and his team accused people of ‘manufactured anger’ at town hall events across the country and how these people do not represent the majority of Americans on the issue of Health Care.
Nancy Pelosi has accused people of being ‘un-American’ for speaking their minds, and others have been accused of ‘mob violence.’
According to them,  radical right-wingers are being paid to protest and don’t represent a ‘majority of America’- despite 53% of Americans opposing the plan.
All of this while non-profit organizations are the ones openly paying people to come out and defend Obama’s Health Care reform?
Don’t believe me, look here:
Obama has also been caught busing ‘supporters’ of health care overhaul to his New Hampshire town hall with “Organizing for America”.  After all, Obama did set up grassroots organizations after the election to constantly campaign for him. It was said the hall was packed with supporters and opposition was mainly left outside.
The people who signed up for “Obama for America” received an email from Mitch Stewart, the director of the groups current “Organizing for America”, to show up at town hall events and Congressional offices. In the email he wrote:
"As you've probably seen in the news, special interest attack groups are stirring up partisan mobs with lies about health reform, and it's getting ugly. Across the country, members of Congress who support reform are being shouted down, physically assaulted, hung in effigy, and receiving death threats. We can't let extremists hijack this debate, or confuse Congress about where the people stand."
Here is a guide they are sent via email on how to go about countering the protesters:
A new USA Today/ Gallup poll released yesterday shows that Independents are now siding with protesters by a 2-1 margin in the debate.
Perhaps if Obama and the Democrats want to throw out accusations of staged events, they shouldn’t be partaking in it themselves.
