                       American Airlines Arena

With the NBA trade line just over a month away, the Miami Heat plan on making an upgrade. But it's not in the locker room.

The Miami Heat organization has announced a new coming attraction that will grace the American Airlines Arena. The organization has teamed up with A2aMedia to make a 3,400 square foot digital LED screen that will face Biscayne Boulevard. Construction of the screen will begin immediately and possibly be finished by as early as March.

The giant screen will be composed of woven stainless steel mesh that is accompanied with linear tubes filled with LED nods. The display, that will cover over a dozen window panels of the AA Arena, will be up to 70 percent transparent in hopes of not block any fans trying to view in or fans trying to view out of the arena.

The screen will be primarily used to announce up coming events, advertising and even video feeds of Miami Heat basketball. Being  a technology more widely used in Europe, the Miami Heat would be the first sports team in the U.S. to employ this MediaMesh technology in hopes to attract more attention and more revenue to the organization.
