1) Talk about your psychic fairs that you hold monthly in Berkley.
Back in 2000, there was a Spiritualist church that held the fairs as a fundraiser. The church left, so I started hosting the fairs to pay the utilities in between tenants. Tired of this, I started using the building for my accounting and tax practice, holding the fairs monthly. The fairs as a business have been growing ever since. We are quaint, comfy, maxing out at 10 readers, so we strive for a variety of reading styles. The price for readings is $20 for up to 15 minutes with any one reader. For times when you and a reader might not connect as well as either of you might like, we offer a guarantee. Our guarantee is that if within the first two to three minutes you and/or the reader do not feel as though there is a good connection---simply let us know. You will have 1 of 2 options: One, you can choose to take your ticket and go to another reader. Or, you can get your money back less any discounts and credit card fees (if applicable). All readings are for entertainment purposes. For more information on the fairs, expos, my services, and future classes, visit http://www.yourspiritness.com
2) How did you get involved in the psychic world?
My experiences started when I was very young. As a child, it was suggested that my eyes were playing tricks on me. As a young teenager, my best friend was killed. I sensed her, hearing her knocking on the walls for months afterwards. Then, my experiences became more frequent and evident. I later learned that I was a beacon for those who had passed away who were too scared to go to the light by themselves. It wasn't until my early 30's that I met others like myself, coming to terms with my experiences and accepting them as gifts. As I accepted them, it became easier to be involved in the psychic world. I look forward to sharing the messages with others that I receive for them.
3) What projects or other events are you planning for 2009 besides the psychic fairs?
The successful expo that we held on 4/25/09 utilized 40,000 square feet that offered 43 readers, 70 vendors, 17 massage therapists, 13 guest speakers, and 1200 attendees. We plan on hosting a few more expos in the fall of 2009, offering various classes at my offices. I am currently looking into the following areas for expos: Ann Arbor, Oakland County, and Benton Harbor, Michigan.
I am looking into having various instructors come in during the week to teach various types of classes. I have a class scheduled for 7/22/09. It will be a hands-on approach to learning some basic mediumship skills using psychometry and billets. The class requires no prior experience.
In August 2009, there is a class that will focus on a mediumship circle where each of the participants is invited to come and give, as well as receive, messages.
4) What type of readings or work do you do too?
I started as a channel. I never thought there was anything more to what I can do besides the experiences when I was a child. I have found out I have quite an array of gifts (reading modalities). Some of my many gifts include: psychometry, billets, finding lost/misplaced items, mediumship (communicating to those who have passed on), psychic (tapping into a situation, assessing it, & provide guidance), angel cards, cookie readings (similar to tea leaves), energy healings, etc. I've found that I'm very open, enjoying being able to share messages so much that when I hear of a modality other than those I have tried, I have to check it out and add it to my list of abilities! Though I have done some semi-trance stuff, I just won't do full trances.
