Mark Handler's singing bowl concert and seminars coming to Red Lotus Yoga Nov. 6-7, 2009

Mark Handler will be coming to Red Lotus yoga studio in Rochester Hills, Michigan for a concert and some seminars. The concert will be Friday, November 6, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Mark will utilize antique Tibetan singing bowls and throat singing with the practice of yoga for a uniquely healing experience for attendees.
The seminars by Mark Handler will also be at Red Lotus Yoga, but on Saturday, November 7th, 2009. Each seminar is $25 per seminar or $20 for early registration. The first seminar is 1:00-2:30 p.m. It is a chakra activation and balancing using the antique Tibetan singing bowls. The on-line flier reads: “This seminar will be an introduction to using antique Tibetan singing bowls to activate and balance the flow of prana (life force energy) through our nadis and chakras. This seminar will transform the chakras from an abstract intellectual concept to an intense experience.”
There will be time from 2:30-3:00 p.m. to shop for CD’s and singing bowls. (Master card and visa will be accepted.)
The second seminar runs from 3:00-4:30 p.m. The seminar will help one to deepen his or her meditation practice utilizing the Tibetan singing bowls. The on-line flier reads: “These ancient bowls are powerful tools for the transmission of very deep meditative states of consciousness. In this seminar you will have the opportunity to play with antique Tibetan singing bowls; learning specific methods to enhance entering and remaining in deep meditative states.”
