Here's some info you might not know about flowers!

  • Flowers sent to a patient in a hospital should be pastel in color and without very much smell.  They should be sent in a vase or select a potted plant. 
  • Flower arrangements on a dinner table should be low.
  • For someone ill it is fun to combine fruit and flowers in an attractive arrangement.
  • A wise man will inquire about the color of his dates gown, before ordering a corsage or he should order white.
  • For children, use a fun container and tuck a little gift in the arrangement.
  • Red Roses mean "I love you".
  • Tea Roses mean "I'll remember always".
  • Pink Roses mean "You're beautiful".
  • Yellow Roses mean "Try to care".
  • White Roses mean "You're heavenly".
  • Dark Crimson Carnation means "I'm carrying the torch".
  • Pink Carnation means "I'll never forget you".
  • Orchid means "You're a flame in my heart".
  • Red Camellia means "You're adorable".
  • Pink Camellia means "Longing for you".
  • Gardenia means "You're lovely".
  • Violets means "I'll be true, always".

  • February- Primrose
  • March- Jonquil
  • April- Sweet Pea
  • May- Lily of the Valley
  • June- Rose
  • July- Larkspur
  • August- Gladioli
  • September- Aster
  • October- Calendula
  • November- Chrysanthemum
  • December- Holly or Mistletoe
