U2 played to two enchanted crowds this weekend in Paris as their world tour “U2 360” continues to make its way through Europe.

Before they hit France on Saturday, they played Milan one more time on Wednesday July 8th. “Electrical Storm” creeped its way back onto the setlist and “Stuck in a Moment You Can’t Get Out Of” made its “360” debut. Also the band inserted pieces of “Billie Jean” and “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” into “Desire” as a tribute to the late Michael Jackson. Read more about night two in Milan here.

A commenter on my previous Milan post mentioned that there's an amazing video of the fans singing along to "Unknown Caller" with the band. Here it is, and it's proof that U2 have one of the greatest groups of fans in the world. I can't wait to sing along with them in the fall. Thanks to Matt!

Ninety thousand fans greeted U2 in Paris on Saturday night. Bono said, “Thank you for coming out and thank you for giving us a great life. Thank you for giving us the chance to build this madness, this space station.” As for the setlist, like Milan, the MJ tribute in “Desire” continued. The new version of “I’ll Go Crazy” is picking up steam as a favorite in the show.

Night two on Sunday saw “Angel of Harlem” back in the show and “Mysterious Ways” joined in on the fun as well. As the birdsong intros “Unknown Caller”, Bono told the crowd, “We recorded some of the album in a beautiful raid in Fez with the birdsong coming through the roof… this is for all of you here from North Africa.”

U2 continue their stay in France as they play Nice on Wednesday before continuing on to Berlin this Saturday.

After doing a bunch of shows so far, U2 is mixing up its setlist a little, which I love. One show might get “Mysterious Ways”, another gets “Stuck in a Moment”. What song are you hoping they keep in the setlist on the North American leg of the tour? I already stated that I hope “Electrical Storm” makes its debut in NYC, but I’m hoping “Mysterious Ways” gets to stay on the list since it’s my best friend and her fiancé’s “official” song. She’s going with me to both shows, so I want her to get to hear it. How about all of you?

Many people have commented on U2’s site about how they love “Ultraviolet” being in the show and I’m a huge fan of the song as well. Here’s the band performing it Saturday night in Paris.
