Cover for the new Black Crowes album
The Black Crowes have set up a free download of their new single, “I Ain’t Hiding,” on their official website. They have also revealed the cover art for their new album, Before the Frost… The song is heavily inspired by the disco and funk of the late seventies, and if this song is any indication, the new album will take the band in a completely new direction from last year’s earthy Warpaint album. As noted here before, the new album was recorded in front of a live audience, which can be heard at the end of the new single.

The song will shock some fans at first, but it is definitely the most exciting thing the band has recorded since 2001’s Lions. The band has also released additional tour dates for their Stuck Inside Utopia 2009 Tour. The tour will take them through Horseshoe Casino’s Bluesville on July 25th and The Lyric Theatre in Oxford on September 28th. Tickets for both shows are on sale now. To download the new track in mp3 format, please visit the Black Crowes Official Website
