“The Sierra Outlaws have been performing in and around Arizona for several years. They offer the best of Old and New Country, with a touch of blues and Old Rock and Roll.” So says their website.
And it can be believed with the amount of talent they contain.
Carl Moles the lead guitar and vocals, has been performing music in and around Arizona for the last 20 years. His influences began with listening to his father perform Merle Haggard, and Old Hank Williams songs. His personal influences were from the Out law days of Waylon Jennings and that of Willie Nelson.
Ron Newcomb, the drummer, has roots are in Southern rock & roll, has been performing in Arizona for many years and sets the beat for the Sierra Outlaws!
DW Newcomb, who plays some drums and vocals, has roots that are in Blues – which makes him a natural for some kick-ass Country music.
And last but not least, Sean Jamison - who is the newest edition to the Sierra Outlaws! His roots are in Rock & Roll, but his Country picking sound like he has been playing Country all of his life! He has played throughout the valley for over 20 years including performing at Country Thunder a couple of years ago with Cindy Standage!
