    Ramini joins 24 cast

From Housewives to Counter Terrorism

The growing cast of 24 picked up yet another member this weekend when T.J. Ramini agreed to sign on.  Some of you may know Ramini from his brief stint this past season on the ABC show Desperate Housewives where he played an Israeli boot camp instructor who helped get Gabby (Eva Longoria) into shape.

On 24, Ramini will be playing a character named Tarin Karoush, who has close ties to the Middle Eastern leader being played by fellow newcomer Anil Kapoor.

Since their seventh season wrapped in May, the crew behind 24 has been busy casting for the next "day" in the life of Jack Bauer, which will take place in New York this time around.

Previously it was announced that Freddie Prinze Jr. , Mykelti Williamson and Katee Sackhoff had joined the newbie cast for the action/ drama.
