24 recruits Starbuck to CTU: New York

Battlestar Galactica actress on board

     Add yet another name to the growing employee rolodex at the new and improved Counter Terrorism Unit.  Katee Sackhoff, known for her role as Kara 'Starbuck' Thrce on the recently completed Battlestar Galactica series, has signed on to play CTU data analyst Dana Walsh on 24 next season.

     Katee joins a growing list of new recruits for the hit show's eigth season that already includes Mykelti Williamson, as the new CTU boss, Jennifer Westfeldt, as a snooping journalist, Anil Kapoor, who is playing a Middle Eastern leader targeted for possible assassination, and Chris Diamantopoulos who is aboard as President Taylor's new chief of staff.

     Already returning from season seven are Cherry Jones (President Taylor), Annie Wersching as FBI agent Renee Walker, Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe O'Brien) and of course good ol' Kiefer Sutherland.
