Keyboard and cupWriter's Digest is holding the Popular Fiction Awards, a short story competition. Entrants can compete in one or more of these five categories:

  • Romance 
  • Mystery/Crime Fiction 
  • Science Fiction/Fantasy 
  • Thriller/Suspense 
  • Horror

The Grand Prize-Winner will receive $2,500 cash, $100 worth of Writer's Digest Books and the 2010 Novel & Short Story Writer's Market.

Deadline for entries is Monday, November 02, 2009. Enter as many times as you like, but there is a $15 fee for each entry.
