With all the talk of climate change and how the world will soon come to an end, it is interesting to note that it snowed in Denver in the 1950's. Lots of snow fell back then just like today. Good to know that people decades ago got dumped on too.

A major snow storm hit Denver in the spring of 1952 after several warm days. Over the past two days we got a couple of feet of snow after a couple of pleasant fall days. Perhaps in other parts of the country one can observe climate changes. Along the front range of  Colorado if someone states that the weather is unusual, one wonders compared to what?

A picture left behind from a previous owner shows the depth of the 1952 storm and, yes, Mayor Newton, the sidewalk was shoveled:

A picture taken today proves that snows just like it did 57 years ago and, yes, Mayor Hickenlooper, the sidewalk is shoveled:

Next week the temperature will be in the 60s. Climate change you can believe in.

See you on the golf course.
