Karl Rove
Karl Rove's Influence Lingers

Republicans know they will have a hard time putting a candidate in the White House without Ohio's cooperation.  The GOP is up to its dirty tricks again and President Bush has asked Attorney General Michael Mukasey to suppress new voter registrations in Ohio.  The majority of new voters registering this year are Democrats.  This request by Bush is an effort to get the Justice Department involved in preventing new voters from voting in the presidential election by asking for an investigation into fraud.

Mukasey of the Justice Department is being solicited to participate in voter suppression.  The Republicans have done this before (thank Karl Rove) by saying fraud has been committed when one data base has a person's name with a period after Jr., and in another database there is no period after Jr or Road is spelled out in one database and abbreviated in another to Rd or has a period in one and not in the other database.
