Fans came out in force on Twitter to let the world and their followers know that they were excited and ready for the season 2 premiere of the hit show on FOX. Fringe made the list of trending topics on Twitter which shows the most common words or phrases being used on the site.

Individual fans posted their excitement of seeing the show, while fan twitterer's such as Fringeinsider brought fans together by using a particular hashmark code in order to discuss the premiere and other aspects of the sci-fi drama. By using the word "#fringe201" and "#fringe" fans could connect with one another through Twitter search to find out what other Fringies thought of the opener as well as provide predictions of what the future holds.

If Twitter is any indication of the show's opening night success, Fringe made an impact on the television viewing audience and has a growing fan base.
