Boulder-based Dizgo and Orlando-based Y Partnership announced the formalization of their strategic partnership.  VisitMobile is the combined result.

From their website: "VisitMobile is a joint venture between Ypartnership, America’s leading integrated marketing agency for the travel, leisure and entertainment industries, and Dizgo, an innovative mobile technology company with a proven expertise in mobile marketing solutions, location-based search and business analytics."

This partnership will allow travel, leisure, and the entertainment industries to "push" relevant content (e.g. feature information, promotions, specials) to text enabled phones (read: almost all).  The ability to reach out and touch a consumer is important but critically so in a destination or "walled garden" area (e.g. Disneyland/Word, or Vail resorts).  Companies can combine the information they track on specials, line waits, and many other metrics, to improve customers experiences.
