Matt Damon – Talented, hunky, and intelligent, this megawatt star recently launched his own charitable endeavor: Water.org. Damon recently stated, “Every 15 seconds, a child in the developing world dies from water-related disease.” Water.org focuses on providing people in developing countries access to safe water supplies and safe sanitation.
Bono- This charitable giant recently hosted the RED(Nights) Charity Concert at Carnegie Hall (Oct. 2009). The jam session included acts like Courtney Love, Lady GaGa, and Lou Reed, with proceeds benefitting RED, Bono’s charity focused on eliminating AIDS in Africa.
Jamie Foxx – as impressive as his career, this multi-faceted artist supports multiple worthy causes, including: Global Fund, Home Safe, iwantpeace.com, Make Poverty History, and the ONE Campaign, an “effort by Americans to rally Americans – ONE by ONE – to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty.”
Vince Vaughn - Sweet, funny, and delightful, Vaughn knows when to get serious. He supports Army Emergency Relief, which is dedicated to providing emergency financial services to soldiers, both active and retired, and their families. Gyllenhaal also supports Hillsides, a child welfare organization in Southern California that provides safe environments for children in need.
Ben Affleck – Good will hunting, indeed…Ben Affleck supports causes both abroad and close to home, including Second Harvest, a/k/a Feeding America, which distributes food and grocery products, increases public awareness of domestic hunger, and supports public policies geared toward eliminating hunger in America. Affleck also joined forces with The Rolling Stones, producing the short film, “Gimme Shelter,” to bring attention to the humanitarian crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Denzel Washington – as charitable as he is handsome, Washington has made sizeable contributions to, and has visited wounded soldiers at, Fisher Houses, hospitals which provide housing for wounded soldiers and their families. He is the Honorary Chairperson for Save Africa’s Children and is spokesperson for Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of America. He is a lifetime founding member of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund and donated $1 million to Wiley College to reestablish its debate team.

This new daddy supports the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, BID 2 BEAT AIDS, and The Art of Elysium, which encourages people in the arts to donate their time and talents to children with serious medical conditions.
