Robert Rothrock, Kyle Kadow and Carson Decarlo will be sentenced on July 10th at 9:45 am by Judge Nancy Fuerst.
On June 30, 2008, Robert Rothrock, 46, his son, Zackary Rothrock, 18, and Kyle Kadow, 18, all of Avon Lake, burglarized a house located at 11714 Akins Road, North Royalton.
Carson Decarlo, 23, of Lorain, and Zackary Rothrock later returned to the home on the same day and set off improvised explosives devices causing significant damage to the home in an attempt to cover-up the evidence. Zackary Rothrock is now deceased.
Kadow pleaded guilty to burglary on April 29, 2009. Carson pleaded guilty to burglary and arson on April 29, 2009. Rothrock was found guilty by a jury on June 12, 2009. All three will be sentenced on July 10th.
