CHOCOLATE RUM CAKE

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt pan. If desired, place nuts in the bottom of pan. Beat cake mix, pudding mix, chips, eggs, oil, 1/2 cup of the water, and 1/2 cup of the rum on high speed for 2 minutes. Pour into pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. While cake is baking, combine butter, sugar, rum and water. Bring to a rolling boil and cook for 2 minutes. Pour rum glaze over cake as soon it comes out of the oven. Let cake set for at least 30 minutes before serving or moving to a serving plate.
Cook's Notes-don't feel limited to using white rum if you prefer darker rums.
