Have you already gone to the local pumpkin patch? Want to do some Halloween crafts this year? Regardless of your stance on what can be a controversial holiday for some, here you can find crafts or the whole family, Halloween, or just autumnal.

At FamilyCrafts.about.com, they have an entire page of pumpkin craft ideas. From coloring pages to a beaded safety pin design. You could lose yourself for a long time browsing what they have to offer.

Also at FamilyCrafts.about.com, there is a Pumpkin Patch page. There are games, recipes, carving tips, and more.

Since I still have fairly small children around, I particularly liked the pumpkin decorating ideas. These were ideas that included no cutting. Some ideas were just fun to look through, such as Masquerading Pumpkins and the Hamburger Pumpkin. You can also look through FamilyCrafts.about.com's Halloween craft index

DLTK-Holidays.com, has many craft ideas for children as young as 2 years. Cut & paste jack-o-lanterns with printable templates is offered, as well as a paper plate mask. These are just a couple of examples of very easy crafts to keep your children entertained.

Looking to keep yourself entertained? You need to visit FamilyFun.go.com. While I know that kids can do these also, these struck me as a little more involved, and some would make nice fall or Halloween decorations for your house.

The ghost crafts looked like fun. I really liked the salt dough ghosts. I could see getting very creative with this, and it would really work well with any holiday. The ghostly graveyard also caught my attention. You could do this as simply or intricately as you like. I was reminded of gingerbread houses, only making a haunted house or graveyard with candy. After all, it is Halloween, and I'm sure the entire family would get into that one!
