At 10 a.m. Monday the evacuation order for the Twin fire near Williams, Arizona was lifted, making it possible for families to return to their homes.

Strong winds on Sunday tested firefighters but they were able to keep the fire from adding additional acres to the 1,000 that had already burned. In a news release Monday morning the incident management team said they do not expect any additional growth of the fire, which is "10 to 15 percent contained". The weather is expected to be cooler and drier on Monday with slightly less intense winds.
