Scott Baum, father of missing Lindsey Baum, pleaded for his daughter’s safe return. Baum is on leave from the Tennessee National Guard and may face deployment to Iraq without knowing what happened to his little girl.
“Please bring my daughter home. I’m fixing to deploy to Iraq and tomorrow is her birthday,” Baum said on Monday.
Lindsey disappeared the night of June 26 while walking home from a friend’s house, just blocks away from her own home in McCleary, Wash.
Searchers continued to look for the girl on Monday and Grays Harbor Undersheriff Rick Scott said, “We’re a long way from throwing in the towel.”
The upcoming McCleary Bear Festival will be an opportunity for investigators to speak to more people and disseminate more information about Lindsey.
Today is Lindsey’s 11th birthday.
“I would love nothing more than to see my daughter before I go,” said Baum. “Please bring my daughter home before I have to leave.”
Lindsey has brown hair and brown eyes, is 4’9” tall, 80 lbs., and was last seen wearing a light blue hooded pullover shirt and blue jeans.
If you have information regarding Lindsey, call the Grays Harbor Sheriff Office at 1-866-915-8299 or send an email to soadmin@co.grays-harbor.wa.us.
