On Monday, Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez questioned Orange County Sheriff’s deputy Adriana Acevedo. Acevedo was the officer who responded to Roy Kronk’s tip in Aug. regarding the remains of Caylee Anthony.
Kronk had called authorities informing authorities he had seen a suspicious bag in the area.
Instead of a thorough investigation, Kronk claims Deputy, Richard Cain made a very quick search of the area and then left. He also said Cain was rude to him. To hear Cain’s interview with authorities, click here.
When investigators questioned Acevedo, she said she didn’t remember Cain searching the area or talking with Kronk that day.

A fellow meter reader of Kronk’s, David Dean was also deposed on Monday. He told investigators that Kronk had spotted what he thought was a skull in the woods, but was distracted by a rattlesnake.
Baez also questioned Tim Armstrong, a spokesperson for Orange County Public Works. Armstrong was the first person to speak with the media after Kronk eventually found Caylee’s remains on Dec. 11.
Casey is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. Her trial is scheduled to begin Oct. 12, but Baez is due in court later this month to reveal the death-qualified attorney who will be joining the defense team.
