According to documents released Wednesday, the silver duct tape wrapped around the skull of little Caylee Anthony, 2, had once had a heart sticker on it. The duct tape had been placed over the mouth area of the skull. The sticker was located when investigators had searched the woods where Caylee was found.
The documents state that FBI analysts found sticky residue on the tape that was left in the perfect shape of a heart. According to Orange County sheriff's Detective Yuri Melich, "It appears the sticker was put on the duct tape intentionally."
Also found was a Winnie the Pooh blanket, a plastic toy, and clothing--a pair of white shorts and a size 3T shirt. Cloth iron-on letters were also in the bag.
The clothing in the bag was not the same clothing George Anthony had described as Caylee wearing when he last saw her alive on June 16, 2008.
The documents also indicate in various search warrants for the home of George and Cindy Anthony, they were looking for laundry bags, duct tape, blankets, sheets of stickers, Winnie the Pooh related items, Casey Anthony's shoes, arts and crafts materials, and small plastic toy horses.
In addition, any prescriptions for medications at the Anthony home was observed and noted.
Roy Kronk, an Orange County utility worker, found Caylee’s remains on Dec. 11. The remains had been placed in a cloth laundry bag, which was placed inside a plastic garbage bag.
Casey Anthony, 22, is charged with the first-degree murder of Caylee.
