Authorities are still searching for missing Texas boy Mitchell Romero, 3. It was determined he have vanished after his mother, Veronica Esquivel Romero, 29, was found dead in their Denver City home.

Although police are still investigating Veronica’s death, there is speculation she was murdered. According to Salem-News, Mario is wanted in connection with her murder.

Mitchell is believed to have been abducted by his father, Mario Romero, 34, who’s driving a maroon 2004 GMC Yukon, with Texas license plate number 43WFX6. Mario is 5-foot-7 and weighs approximately 205 pounds.

Police have stated they believe Mario may be headed with Mitchell to Mexico.

Mitchell is described as a 3-year-old Hispanic male, 2-foot-8, weighing about 35 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
