Looking for scriptures or quotes for Thanksgiving? Look no further.

1 Chronicles 16 – David’s Psalm of thanks when the ark was brought back to Israel. Includes these words: Declare his glory among the nations, is marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.

1 Chronicles 29 – David’s Psalm of Thanks when materials were gathered for the temple. Includes these passages: But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.

2 Chronicles 20: When the armies of Moab and Ammon attacked Israel, King Jehoshaphat placed singers at the head of the army to praise God with these words: Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever. Israel prevailed against their enemies.

Psalms 75 contains the following: We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks, for your Name is near; men tell of your wonderful deeds.

Psalms 100 is a traditional Thanksgiving Psalm, one my family reads prior to each feast.
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Quote Garden offers a number of quotes including this one by John Fitzgerald Kennedy.  “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. “
