It's cheaper and easier than you might think to see a great movie in the Sacramento area.  You can reserve the movie of your choice on-line and pick up your selection a the branch of the Sacramento Public Library closest to your home.  The Sacramento Public Library system has over 3,000 dvd titles available to check out, free of charge.  The librarian I spoke with today said additional titles are being added to the system all the time.  Include among the libraries current titles are some 292 Disney dvds.

If you don't already have a library card, you can apply for one on-line.  This on-line application gives you temporary access to the library's on-line reservation system.  When you pick up your videos, you can get your permanent library card.  The library card, like the dvd's are free to Sacramento County residents.

You can keep the dvd's for 21 days, by checking them out.  If you want to keep the dvd for longer, you can call:  (916) 264-2952.  As long as the dvd has not been reserved by someone else who is waiting for you to return the dvd, you can have it for longer.
