Larry Doyle's novel, I Love You, Beth Cooper, has been adapted by the author to a film that will release on July 10. Details of the film appear below.

Directed by: Chris Columbus (Mrs. Doubtfire; Harry Potter 1 & 2; Home Alone)

Screenplay by: Larry Doyle (The Simpsons-TV)

Starring: Hayden Panettiere (Beth Cooper) and  Paul Rust (Denis Cooverman)

I Love You, Beth Cooper is about a nerdy valedictorian and debate club captain, Denis Cooverman, who takes the opportunity of his graduation speech to tell cheerleader, Beth Cooper, that he loves her.  Beth has no idea who he is, and her large boyfriend who is home from the Army adds to the complications that ensue.
