Bobby Kennedy, Jr. appeared in support of Gov. Jon Corzine this week and actually said “How can Chris Christie come over and seriously run for governor? It's time for them (Republicans) to sit down and let someone else run the state." Did Kennedy know he was in New Jersey? Had he never heard of Jon Corzine before stepping on stage?
Corzine himself has been an elected official representing NJ for close to a decade. He served in the Senate from 2001-2006 and left before his term up to become Governor. The last time NJ elected a republican to the US Senate was 1972. 1997 was the last time we elected a Republican as Governor. The democrats hold the majority in the NJ State Senate and the NJ State Assembly. Both of our US Senators are democrats and the majority of our Congressmen are democrats. It doesn’t get any bluer.
Voters seem to be satisfied, even supportive of the downturn in the economy, the increasing state debt and the outrageous state property taxes. If they weren’t, the election would be a runaway for Chris Christie, the Republican candidate.
Tomorrow is election day and all the people who don’t want to redistribute their “wealth”-you know, the money you have earned and are forking over to the state through property taxes, income taxes and sales taxes among other taxes and fees, need to get out tomorrow and get Corzine out of office by voting for Chris Christie.
