The sixth day before Christmas- December 19.jpg)
Think of six gifts you've been given through the years that you are especially thankful for, and if possible, thank the person that gave it to you again.
Is there something that you've always remembered getting, something that you still have, or wish you still had? I think all of us have had a few really special and meaningful gifts given to us that still make us feel good when we think about them. Take a few moments with your family and kids, and talk about your special memories. You know that your kids love to hear about when "you were little", and they'll remember the time you spend with them more than any Christmas gift no matter how special it is.
Thanking the giver of your gift will make them feel good, too. It's nice to know that your efforts have been appreciated and that people remember special things that you've done for them. Send them a card, or call them on the phone, or maybe you'll have to send a message heavenward. No matter how you do it, you will brighten at least two people's day.
