This is a really easy one. It's basically free, and the kids will want to do it long after you've lost interest.

  1. Get out your digital camera, camcorder, video phone, etc. Whatever you have that records video and sound.
  2. Come up with a theme. Nursery rhymes, American Idol, sports, nature, fairy tales, whatever your kids like.
  3. Let them take turns being in the video and filming videos (according to age and ability, and how attached you are to your camera, of course).
  4. Plug it into the tv, pop some corn, haul out the blankets and have a video day.

You really can't beat free entertainment if you ask me. Some of your kids probably have their own cameras so you can go completely crazy with the videoing. Have fun, and don't get hurt!
